A Case of Tuberous Sclerosis

Abstract
|
|
|
Tuberous sclerosis is a congenital disease of hereditary type. It was first recognized by Bourneville in 1880 and was the subsequent work of Vogt that established the clinical triad of mental deficiency, epilepsy and adenoma sebaceum and the frequent occurrence of visceral tumors in 1906.
We experienced a case of tuberous sclerosis diagnosed by typical clinical manifestations, fundus finding, and brain C.T. in a 27 years old man.
We presented the case with the brief review of the literature.
